When a retired construction barrister purchased his beautifully appointed three-bedroom full floor apartment in Darling Point, he had a clear vision for the home — but needed a Class 2 architect and builder with the expertise to bring it to life. That’s where we stepped in.
We didn’t just review the existing designs — we undertook the full design coordination process required under the Design and Building Practitioners Act (DBPA). This involved managing and integrating specialist consultant input across every stage of the documentation. Starting with the architectural design, we coordinated inputs from structural, services, fire safety, and waterproofing consultants — ensuring each layer was correctly overlaid and aligned.








With each design revision, we repeated the process across all disciplines to maintain a fully compliant, fully coordinated documentation set — as required by law.
This rigorous process not only ensured regulatory compliance, but also gave the client confidence in cost accuracy, construction feasibility, and risk mitigation — long before work began on site.
As a Class 2 builder, we had deep oversight of both the design and compliance requirements — giving the client not only peace of mind, but also exceptional momentum heading into construction. Our integrated role allowed for more accurate cost planning, more efficient approvals, and a smoother path to build.
